内容摘要：
We evaluate the cost due to resource misallocation following stricter environmental regulation imposed by the Chinese government since 2006. We find inefficient environmental regulation reduces manufacturing TFP by around 4%, keeping aggregate emission constant. The misallocation comes from different regulation intensity across regions, industries, and firms of different size.
报告人简介：
香港大学经济学博士，浙江大学研究员，博士生导师，现任教于浙江大学经济学院国际经济系。周默涵研究员于2008年获得武汉大学经济学与数学学士双学位，2013年博士毕业于香港大学经济与金融学院，2014-2018年间以副教授身份任教于中央财经大学国际经济与贸易学院；2018年作为浙江大学人才引进。他的研究领域包括异质性企业理论和环境经济学，研究成果发表在Journal of Environmental Economics and Management，Canadian Journal of Economics，《世界经济》等国内外重要学术期刊。
