内容简介：We explore the influence of the Free Trade Zone policy on local GDP, taking advantage of a policy experiment in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone starting from October, 2013. Following the Neoclassic economic model, we derive a dynamic panel date model(DPD Model) and autoregressive model (AR Model) to estimate the hypothetical GDP growth in Shanghai without the Free Trade Zone policy in year 2014. We also extend the semiparametric model proposed by Zhou et al.(2009) for forecasting which provides a good robustness check of our new models. The empirical results show that the Free Trade Zone does have a positive impact on the local GDP. Specifically, it adds about 2% to the growth rate of the GDP per capita for Shanghai in 2014 and increases absolute value of 1801.8 yuan to the GDP per capita in Shanghai. Our rigorous study lends an important piece of support to the duplication of FTZ policy to other cities in China.
个人简介：周亚虹，上海财经大学经济学院教授，教育部新世纪优秀人才，复旦大学数学学士、港科技大学经济学博士。主要研究领域为微观计量经济学和微观经济学，在Journal of Econometrics、Journal of Business & Economic Statistics、Science China Mathematics、《经济研究》等国内外一流经济学期刊发表论文二十余篇，主持国家自然科学基金项目多项。曾获上海市第十一届（2012年）哲学社会科学优秀成果奖三等奖、第六届（2013年）高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（人文社会科学）三等奖、第三届上海财经大学学术奖（2015年）等多项荣誉。此外，周亚虹教授深受学生好评，多次获得上海市博（硕）士生优秀成果（学位论文）指导老师、上海财经大学“教书育人”标兵、上海财经大学“我心目中的好老师”等荣誉称号。
