报告简介：Integrated solution strategy (ISS) has become increasingly prevalent among manufacturing firms in the digital age. However, the literature presents conflicting views on whether this strategy drives firm growth. Drawing on the composition-based view and organizational knowledge creation theory, this study seeks to resolve this inconsistency by identifying technological innovation as a key contingency. We propose that the combined deployment of ISS and technological innovation negatively impacts firm growth, resulting in distinct effects of ISS on growth depending on the level of technological innovation. To test our hypotheses, we collected data from manufacturing firms listed on China’s ChiNext board. The results confirm that ISS positively influences firm growth for firms with low levels of technological innovation, whereas it has a negative impact for those with high levels of technological innovation. Additionally, operational efficiency strengthens the positive effect and mitigates the negative one. This study contributes to the literature by reconciling conflicting perspectives and emphasizing the importance of aligning technological innovation and service strategies to foster firm growth.
报告人简介：黄文高，中国科学技术大学科技商学院/管理学院特任副研究员，西安交通大学管理学博士，香港理工大学联合培养。研究兴趣包括制造企业服务化与数字化转型、技术创新与创业等。他的成果（第一或通讯作者）在Journal of Product Innovation Management、Technovation、IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management等国际期刊发表，并获得Production and Operations Management (UTD-24)等期刊的返修邀请。获得中国管理现代化研究会2025年创新创业A类博士论文(原优秀博士论文)奖。参与国家社科基金重大项目、国家自科基金面上项目等。担任Journal of Product Innovation Management、 IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management等期刊审稿人
