内容简介：This lecture will cover several prominent forms of price discrimination, including (1) monopolistic second-degree price discrimination; (2) monopolistic third-degree price discrimination and its welfare impacts; (3) third-degree price discrimination with competition, under either best-response symmetry or best-response asymmetry. Anti-trust implications will also be discussed.
个人简介：QIHONG LIU is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Oklahoma. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from SUNY Stony Brook in 2003. His main research areas are Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconomics. His current research focuses on the U.S. airline industry, two-sided markets, as well as price discrimination and product differentiation strategies. He has published in peer reviewed journals including Review of Economics and Statistics, European Economic Review, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Canadian Journal of Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, Journal of Industrial Economics, Economics Letters etc.
